I am honored to answer the call to seek election to the College Station City Council. Community involvement has always been an important facet of my life and I understand the importance of an engaged citizenry. I look forward to expanding that service through the opportunity to work on the City Council.
I am proud to call College Station home. It is a wonderful place to live and it continues to attract a diverse population, from the retired to the young professional. Our City needs elected officials with the experience and the vision to plan ahead so that the City is prepared to meet present and future needs.
Strategic planning is the key. City leaders must have the foresight to address new and upcoming issues and to implement planning that results in minimal costs to the taxpayers. The improvement and growth of our City services and our infrastructure are critical as we continue to welcome new residents.
I believe that my professional, business, and community experiences best qualify me to address these issues. I would be honored to have your vote on November 6th.
My Mission:
- Enact economically sound budgeting and expenditures to sustain a high quality of life at the lowest cost to the citizens
- Ensure that we are maintaining and improving our transportation infrastructure to meet our growing needs
- Preserve the character and purpose of our many neighborhoods and districts, and protect resident private property rights
- Ensure that Police and Fire are fully staffed and have the necessary resources to oversee the safety of our growing community
- Foster a planning process that works towards responsible economic growth and job creation
